Course websites
Publish a folder as a course: lessons in order, progress for every visitor, and a quiz at the end — on GitHub Pages, from your own repository.
- Right-click a folder → Publish as course website… (or tick Publish as a course in Publish as book…).
- Check the lesson order, then Publish book.
- Lessons are ordered by what builds on what — a note comes after the notes it links to, and an
index.mdorREADME.mdopens the course. - Every lesson has a progress bar and Mark this lesson done; the contents page ticks off finished lessons.
quiz.htmlasks up to 30 of the folder’s flashcards, answers behind a click, scores them, and links back to the lessons to go over again.
Progress is kept in each visitor’s own browser. The site is still plain static files, and the pages read fine with scripts off.
